a spy in the house of love

26 Apr True story:  so I had to talk myself out of ordering this Lilly dress yesterday, not because I didn’t think it’d be worth the money, but because I’ve always been between two sizes with Lilly dresses.  So I thought to myself, “Self—isn’t there bound to be ONE Lilly store in this city?  Or Jersey?  Or Connecticut (because I would take the train.  Really, I would.)?”  There IS a Lilly store in the city, and, SHOCKING—it’s on the Upper East Side on Madison Avenue.  And it’s only open until 6PM on weekdays, crushing my dream of going to try it on after work yesterday.  Seriously, though, that Lilly store knows its primary clientele: UES ladies who apparently don’t have day jobs.
