So, so, so very excited to finally have a finished draft of my WIP.  I think it might be a total mess—especially the ending—but I’m glad I pushed through.  It’s been exactly one year in the making. I started it last Columbus Day weekend, after I took a research trip to Boston, but I had to put it down to commit all of my writing time to Sequel.  This past weekend, in between marathoning Breaking Bad, something in me just clicked and I finished it.

It’s not YA, which is one of the things that made it so difficult to write—I had to jump outside of my comfort zone and try and try and try to get the voice right for the age level.  I hope something happens with it eventually, but, for now, it definitely needs a good edit.
